Typical Uses...
 |
FLATWARE DRAWERS -
JEWELRY CASES Completely line the inside of your drawer or
case with Silvercloth. Use the recommended adhesive for applying
pre-measured pieces to sides, fronts, backs, bottoms, tops,
etc. NOTE: Making a paper guide of your drawer or case
dimensions first, will simplify this project. |
 |
POUCHES - for
plates, platters, trays, etc, Simply cut out one piece of Silvercloth
which is comfortably longer than your silver piece.
Fold over cloth allowing for your piece to be fully enclosed.
Sew up the sides and allow the flap to fold over the front. A
small ribbon can be attached to both flap and front to ensure
closure. |
 |
CUSTOM BAGS -
for holloware. With a flexible measuring tape determine the
distance completely around (vertically) your bowl, teapot, etc.
and add 5". Then, looking at the piece "head on"
measure the distance around horizontally. Divide this distance
in half and add 3". This will become the width of the
fabric required for your bag. Cut a piece of Silvercloth according to your dimensions. Sew up the sides. |
 |
POCKETED ROLLS
- for flatware Simply cut out two pieces of Silvercloth,
15'/2" x 12'/2" and 10'/2" x 6'/2". Place
the smaller piece over the larger in the lower right hand
corner. Seam the sides and bottom. Then, depending on required
widths of your flatware, sew vertical seams, leaving appropriate
"pockets". Smaller or larger rolls can be obtained by
changing the overall dimensions. |
